Statement by the Director of Studies

Professor Sebastian Baumgarten, Director of Studies of the Stage Directing Course

Everyone who studies or teaches on the stage directing course has a desire to get to know people who wish to use the medium of theatre to give expression to the present as they experience it.

How can one define the concepts of theatre in ever-new ways? How can one call into question and change conventional viewing habits?

All lecturers and professors are contemporary theatre practitioners.
