In the master's degree course in dramaturgy, the theory of theatre studies at the LMU is combined with practical work at the Theatre Academy.

• Research seminars on theatre historiography, aesthetics of contemporary theatre, interdisciplinary art and media studies
• Dramaturgical Practice I: Text Work and creating a theatre schedule
• Speech training, singing, piano, Italian and acting lessons of your choice
• Concept development together with stage directing and stage design
• Free project development in cooperation with experienced theatre makers
• Excursions to theatres and theatre festivals, including Berliner Theatertreffen, Ruhrtriennale, Theater der Welt and many more
• Dramaturgical practice II: law, PR, stage design and stage technology
• Production dramaturgy at the theatre academy with accompanying supervision
• Compulsory internship and free projects inside and outside the Theatre Academy
• Workshops on media technologies, children and youth theatre, free music theatre, scenic curating and much more
• Master thesis and examination interview
